Pine Floor

The floors of this large, Miami home (c.1917) were part of an overall renovation. What made it a difficult project was the scarcity of the type of wood used to make the planking, in this case, Dade-county pine. That year, the aftermath of a huge hurricane handed us the trees necessary to mill enough tongue-and-groove planking to repair the floors.
