Custom built-in units are becoming more in demand to accomodate the family’s home theater systems. I enjoy designing to the particular tastes in style and choices of electronic components of each client. I try to make the mouldings and trim unique instead of what everybody else has in their home. Pilasters here have a simple mitered trim and plinth block design. Deep profiles from the capital provide a nice shadow line below the plain facia near the top. This unit is made to recess in the wall of this newly remodelled room having mexican tile; wood tones are a unique custom blend of shades to match them. The lights help to show off the sunny color of the wood and whatever items are displayed on the shelves.
