A built-in wall unit such as this one can also be commissioned without the extra expense of a finish. The customer chose to paint this large wall unit themselves and saved thousands of dollars. It’s built with paint-grade maple plywood. The design was a collaborative effort and accommodates a flat screen TV, components directly underneath, display cubes with lights and plenty of bookshelves. As usual, the pieces were prefabricated in the workshop and installed with minimum dispruption to the owner’s schedule.
